Getting to Coronet Peak is Easy:
We’re the closest ski area to Queenstown, only 16kms from the town center. You can either drive yourself or catch a ride on the Coronet Peak Ski Bus, you'll find all the details below.
Importantly, we are on a journey to become carbon neutral by 2030 and part of this includes reducing the number of vehicles on our road. So you can help us out through carpooling and using the Ski Bus.
Ski Bus Transport
To Coronet Peak & The Remarkables. Bookings Essential.Relax and enjoy the scenic journey to and from Coronet Peak or The Remarkables on our warm and comfortable 4WD Ski Bus fleet. Bring your skis and equipment as we can carry that up the mountain and drop you off right outside the base are buildings, close to the chairlifts. All passengers are required to reserve a departure timeslot, pickup location, and what mountain they are going to when purchasing a Ski Bus pass. Capacity is limited and may sell out over peak periods.

Central Queenstown to Coronet Peak
Departs regularly from 7:30am until 11am from 9 Duke St, central Queenstown.
We stop at all the main bus stops on the way to Coronet Peak through Gorge Road and Arthurs Point. View Ski Bus MapCoronet Peak Night Ski
Departs on the hour from central Queenstown when operating at 12pm, 3pm, 4pm, 5pm & 6pm.
Night Ski operates from late June to early September (subject to conditions) on Wednesdays and Fridays as well as some Saturdays during school holidays.Coronet Peak Returns
Returns: from 1pm onwards from Coronet Peak as buses fill.

Returns from 6.30pm, 7.30pm, 8.30pm, and 9pm.

Central Queenstown to The Remarkables
Departs from 9 Duke Street, Central Queenstown from 7.30am to 9am and then at 10am.

The Remarkables Returns
Returns: from 1.30pm onwards from The Remarkables as buses fill.
Plan Ahead
We are at our busiest as the chair lifts close. If you are skiing with young children, have dinner reservations, or other plans you may wish to depart before 3.30pm.
Vehicle parking is also available in central Queenstown at Man St Car Park, close to the Ski Bus pick up location.

Carparks & Shuttles
Coronet Peak has seven carparks, some are within walking distance of the base building/chairlifts. If you are parked a bit further away we operate a free carpark shuttle continuously throughout the day between the designated pickup areas and the base building.
Drop Zone
We have a drop zone just outside the base building where you can drop your other passengers and their gear off, before driving down to one of our car parks. From there you can either walk back up or catch the free Carpark Shuttle bus.

Help us reduce emissions and get everyone up the mountain for more Good Times by car pooling. We recommend the Snow Riders website for coordinating ride sharing.

As per your ticket, you must ensure you are at the correct pickup location at the time and date specified. To guarantee you catch your booked ski bus transport, you must be ready to board on time. Please be aware, dependent on the pickup location, your bus may have prior stops to yours but should depart within 30 minutes of your booked time.
If you have booked via a third party, please check your booking prior to travel when you collect your ski pass or through your online account to confirm that the pick-up location as well as the time, date and destination are correct.
Your return transport from the ski area back to your pickup location is valid only on the same day. Departures are on a first come first served basis and depart as buses fill, from 1pm at Coronet Peak.
Ski Bus Tickets can be rescheduled prior to the departure of your booked timeslot. Please see below instructions for rescheduling, and for further information about rescheduling and refunds, please see our terms and conditions.
Reschedule
A Ski Bus pass that has a date and time reservation is only valid for the date, time, pickup location, and destination that it has been booked for. You can change your booked departure date, time, pickup location, or destination for any reason prior to the booked departure time.
If you purchased online and would like to reschedule your booking yourself (must be prior to your pick-up time) follow the below steps:
Log in to your account and head to your Profile page
Select "Overview and then "Order History"
Find your order and select "DETAILS"
Select "RESERVATIONS"
Select "RESCHEDULE" and then your preferred date
If you have purchased over the phone or in person, to reschedule you can call our reservations team on 0800 697 547, visit our guest services team on mountain or at 9 Duke Street, Queenstown, or email info@nzski.com prior to the booked departure time.
Any rescheduling requests are subject to availability.

Can I Reschedule My Ski Bus Booking?
Rescheduling
A Ski Bus pass that has a date and time reservation is only valid for the date, time, pickup location, and destination that it has been booked for.
You can change your booked departure date, time, pickup location, or destination for any reason prior to the booked departure time.
Ski Bus passes cannot be rescheduled after the departure time. You must change your booking before your scheduled Ski Bus departure time to keep your pass valid.
Changes are not guaranteed and are subject to availability.
Bookings can be changed online, by calling our reservations team on 0800 697 547, or by visiting our guest services team.
Tickets cannot be rescheduled after the departure time.
To Change Your Booking:
You can make some changes to your reservations, subject to availability.
- Log in to your account and head to your Profile page
- Select "Overview and then "Order History"
- Select the “Order Reference" number for the reserved product you would like to update
- Select the calendar icon for the product you would like to reschedule
- Select "RESCHEDULE" and follow the steps to select another date or location.
Refunds
There are no refunds or credits available for no-shows, for cancellations or for rescheduling requests made after the booked departure time.
Bookings missed due to illness or injury may be refunded on presentation of a medical certificate as per our general terms and conditions of sale.
Bookings missed in the event of a mountain closed day will be rescheduled where possible or refunded if another day cannot be rescheduled during the season.
All Ski Bus passes are valid only for the season, date and time which they were purchased for. Unused or partially unused passes cannot be refunded at the end of the season.
Ski Bus passes are not transferable. Pass identification requirements are as per our general terms and conditions of sale.
Carpool Priority Days
Coronet Peak Carpool Priority Parking
This season at Coronet Peak, we'll continue to let you know if we're having a Carpool Priority Day in the Snow Report that morning.
On those days, vehicles with two or less people will be parked in Car Park 7 and vehicles with three or more people can continue up the access road to the closest available car park.
Our free shuttles from the car parks to the base building will be running throughout the day.
